I don't know about you, but I love me a good serum. I have serums for hydrating, for acne, hyper-pigmentation, plumping, brightening. You name it. But, lately, I've been seeing a huge trend for "Nighttime Serums". Yes, a serum that you only use at night.
It makes sense... your cells repair themselves at night and absorb beneficial ingredients much better than during the day.
I was first drawn to this product because of the word "essence". As some of you may know, I started blogging due to my love of Asian Skincare products. However, most of the brands that I come across no longer live up to the cleaner standards that I hold myself to- bummer.
A huge staple in an Asian Skincare routine is Essence. It's supposed to go after the toner and before the serum.
Now, in all honesty, the Vapour Organic Beauty Essence Restorative Night Treatment (mouthful) is not your traditional essence and would certainly not qualify as an essence in Japan or China.
With that said- I'm absolutely in love with it. It's one of those products where you say to yourself, "OMG, my skin looks amazeballs." AND, usually this lasts only for a few days or weeks and then the efficacy wears off.
I've been using this for well over a month and STILL...each morning, I wake up, look in the mirror and say, "DAMN my skin looks amazeballs".
I have NO IDEA why. I have no idea what ingredient or if it's the concoction of ingredients that's doing this kind of sorcery on my skin. AND...I don't really care- as long as I can keep buying this over and over and over again.
Here's what's in it: Organic Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil, Squalane (Olive) Oil, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Organic Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Organic Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Organic Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Organic Algae Extract, Organic Laminaria Digitata (Sea Weed) Extract, Essential Oils & Natural Fruit Essences, Organic Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Leaf Extract, Organic Acorus Calamus (Sweet Myrtle) Root Extract, Organic Taraxacum Officinale (Dandelion) Root Extract
If you have any questions about this...ask away. I can go on and on and on about this product.
